ICE KONIG has been added to the horses running in the Club’s name and colours.

ICE KONIG (FR) is a 9 year old grey gelding by Epalo (GER) out of Isarwelle (GER). He is a genuine, tough and consistent handicap hurdler who has been in the yard for several years. His previous owner sadly died last year and he is now available to run for the Club. His best form has been shown in the summer but he has had 3 runs this winter which have only confirmed that he is not best suited by heavy ground.
I have made an entry for him at Taunton this coming Thursday, 1st March, where the ground is given at the moment as Soft, Good to Soft in places. Should the meeting survive the forecast cold weather, Ice Konig is entered in the first race of the afternoon at 2.20 – a Selling Hurdle over 2 ½ miles for which there are 15 entries.

An update also on GOLAN DANCER who had a couple of runs for the Club in the early summer of last year.

GOLAN DANCER has not been on a racecourse since pulling up at Newton Abbot last June but came in to Nikki’s point to point yard just before Christmas. The plan is to give him a few runs to see if he is back to his old self and he will have an entry to run at Cherrybrook on Sunday, 4th March.
I will give you a further update during the week, but I think we may be dependent on the weather if the forecast is correct!
